Terms of Use

Anna Seguros
Version 1.0 — Effective as of May 11, 2026
Last updated: May 11, 2026

1. Welcome

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the relationship between you and Anna Seguros when you use the Anna app, the anna.com.br website, and any related services (together, "Anna" or "Services").

By creating an account or using Anna in any way, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with a particular clause, please do not use Anna.

Before getting into the detail, three things worth making clear from the start:

  1. Anna is a wallet for your insurance policies, not a brokerage. We don't sell insurance, we don't quote prices, we are not representatives of insurers.
  2. Anna organizes information; it does not replace your insurer or your broker. To trigger coverage, file claims, or get answers about your contract, the official source is always the insurer.
  3. Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for what you do inside Anna.

In plain words

Anna is an app for organizing your insurance policies in one place. It does not sell insurance, it does not replace your insurer, and the account is only yours. If you use Anna, you're agreeing to the rules in this document.

A list of words that appear throughout the document. If something sounds technical, just come back here.

3. Who can use Anna

To use Anna, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have full legal capacity to enter into service agreements
  • Be a resident of Brazil
  • Provide true, complete, and up-to-date information at sign-up
  • Agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy

Anna may, at any time, request proof of identity or of the information provided. If there is an indication of false or fraudulent information, the account may be suspended or closed under section 13.

Legal entities may not create an account on Anna under the current model. Anna is intended for individuals to manage their own policies and the policies of family members.

In plain words

Anna is for people 18 and over, residents of Brazil, with true information at sign-up. Companies, for now, no.

4. Your account

4.1. Creating the account

To create an account, you provide basic data (described in the Privacy Policy) and set a password — or log in with your Google or Apple account, if you prefer.

Each person may have only one active account on Anna. Attempts to create multiple accounts for the same person may lead to suspension.

4.2. Account security

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your password confidential (Anna never asks for your password by email, phone, or message)
  • Enabling and keeping two-factor authentication (MFA), whenever possible
  • Not sharing your account with third parties
  • Notifying Anna immediately if you suspect your account has been accessed by someone else

Any activity carried out with your credentials is considered to have been done by you, unless there was prior notice of compromise.

4.3. Keeping data up to date

You agree to keep your account data up to date. Changes to email, phone, or other relevant information can be made directly in the app.

In plain words

One account per person. The password is your responsibility — don't share it and turn on MFA. If something strange happens, tell Anna. And keep your data current.

5. What Anna does (and what it doesn't)

5.1. What Anna does

Anna offers a set of features to organize and add intelligence to policies that are already yours:

  • Securely store PDFs and images of your policies
  • Automatically extract the structured data from those documents (validity, coverages, amounts, etc.)
  • Organize your policies by category, insurer, expiration
  • Let you add family members and dependents linked to each policy
  • Send alerts for expirations, renewals, and important dates
  • Answer, via an AI assistant, questions about the content of your own policies
  • Provide reports and visualizations of your total protection

5.2. What Anna does NOT do

To be absolutely clear:

  • Does not sell insurance. You don't take out a policy through Anna.
  • Is not a brokerage. We are not registered as a brokerage with SUSEP and we do not act as representatives of insurers.
  • Does not replace your insurer. To trigger coverage, file claims, dispute amounts, or get official answers about your contract, talk to your insurer.
  • Does not replace professional advice. Anna does not give legal, financial, or insurance consulting. The Anna assistant's answers are informational; they do not constitute professional advice.
  • Does not guarantee absolute accuracy. Automatic extraction of policy data may contain errors — always check against the original document.
  • Does not access your insurer account. Anna has no login or integration with insurers' systems (unless you expressly connect a future integration, with a clear notice).

5.3. Features in evolution

Anna is under continuous development. Features may be added, modified, or removed over time. Significant changes will be communicated in the app, by email, or by banner.

In plain words

Anna organizes policies that are already yours. It doesn't sell insurance, doesn't replace your insurer, and doesn't give consulting. The AI assistant is informational; it's not a lawyer or a broker. Always check important information against the original document or with the insurer.

6. Content you upload (User Content)

6.1. You still own your content

Everything you upload to Anna — policy PDFs, images, photos, notes, dependents' data — stays yours. Anna does not claim ownership of your Content.

6.2. License to operate the service

For Anna to be able to store, process, and display your Content within the app itself, you grant Anna a non-exclusive, free, and limited license to:

  • Store your Content on servers
  • Process your Content to extract structured data (via AI)
  • Display your Content back to you in the app
  • Generate visualizations and reports from it
  • Make backups and replicate it to ensure availability and recovery

This license exists only while your account is active and only to deliver Anna's services. If you close your account, the license ends and your Content is deleted as set out in the Privacy Policy.

6.3. You are responsible for what you upload

By uploading Content, you declare that:

  • The Content is true and legitimate
  • You have the right to upload it (it's your policies, or those of family members who authorize it)
  • The Content does not violate third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, image)
  • The Content does not contain illegal, fraudulent, or misleading material

Anna does not review each uploaded document, but may remove Content if notified of a violation or if it identifies improper use.

6.4. Prohibited content

You agree not to use Anna to upload, store, or share:

  • Forged or altered documents
  • Policies of people who have not authorized the inclusion
  • Material with illegal, discriminatory, violent, or pornographic content
  • Viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Spam or automated content of any kind

In plain words

What you upload is yours — Anna only uses it to make the app work for you. You commit to uploading only your own policies (or those of people who authorize you) and not using Anna for anything illegal.

7. Dependents and family members in your portfolio

Anna lets you add family members and dependents to your portfolio so you can manage all the family's policies.

When adding a person, you declare that:

  • You have that person's authorization to include their data in Anna, OR
  • You are that person's legal guardian (in the case of children who are minors or wards)

You are responsible for the legitimacy of that inclusion. Anna relies on the declaration and does not verify case by case.

Details on how Anna handles dependents' data — including those people's rights — are in section 8 of the Privacy Policy.

In plain words

Adding a family member = you're saying you have permission. Anna trusts you. If a problem comes up (a family member didn't authorize it, for example), the responsibility is yours.

8. Anna Assistant (AI chat)

Anna offers an assistant that answers questions about your policies using artificial intelligence. Before using it, it's important to understand:

8.1. How it works

When you ask a question, an AI model processes only the data of your own policies together with your question, and generates a personalized answer. The model has no access to other users' data or to external sources in real time.

8.2. Important limitations

  • The assistant can be wrong. Language models have known limitations and may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated answers.
  • The assistant does not replace professional advice. For important decisions — filing a claim, disputing a denial, choosing between coverages, understanding contract clauses — consult your insurer or a qualified professional.
  • The official source is always the original document. If there is a discrepancy between what the assistant says and what is written in the policy, the policy prevails.
  • Anna is not responsible for decisions you make based solely on the assistant's answers.

8.3. Responsible use

You agree not to use the assistant to:

  • Try to extract information about third parties
  • Generate illegal or offensive content, or content that violates rights
  • Circumvent the platform's technical limits
  • Test vulnerabilities without authorization (to report vulnerabilities, see section 15)

In plain words

The Anna assistant reads your policies and answers your questions. But: it can be wrong, it doesn't replace your insurer or a lawyer, and in case of a discrepancy what counts is the original document. Use it as support, not as the final decision.

9. Service availability

Anna strives to keep the services available all the time, but:

  • We don't guarantee uninterrupted 100% availability.
  • There may be scheduled maintenance (communicated in advance) and occasional failures (fixed as quickly as possible).
  • Anna relies on third-party providers (cloud, connectivity) — failures in those can affect the service.
  • Anna may temporarily suspend the service for security, maintenance, or force-majeure reasons.

Anna is not responsible for outages caused by:

  • Problems with your internet connection
  • Failures in your device
  • Force-majeure events (natural disasters, massive cyberattacks, government decisions)

In plain words

Anna does its best to always be up, but the internet is the internet — there will be moments when it goes down. When it's planned maintenance, we tell you beforehand.

10. Anna's intellectual property

Everything that is part of Anna — except your Content — is the property of Anna or its licensors:

  • The name, logo, and trademark "Anna" and "Anna Seguros"
  • The design and interface of the app and the site
  • The source code, algorithms, and models
  • Texts, illustrations, icons, animations
  • Data structure and information organization
  • Marketing and communication materials

By using Anna, you do not acquire any ownership right over any of these elements.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Anna
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code
  • Use the Anna trademark without prior written authorization
  • Remove or hide intellectual-property notices

Personal, normal use of the app, in accordance with these Terms, is permitted. Any commercial use or redistribution requires Anna's express authorization.

In plain words

The trademark, the app, the design, and the code are Anna's. You can use it normally as a user, but you can't copy it, sell it, decompile it, or use the name "Anna" for other things.

11. Expected user conduct

When using Anna, you agree to:

  • Use the service in accordance with these Terms and applicable law
  • Not try to access other people's accounts
  • Not try to compromise the platform's security (intrusion, exploitation of flaws, attacks of any kind)
  • Not automate use of the app (bots, scripts, scrapers) without express authorization
  • Not use Anna for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful-to-others purposes
  • Not intentionally overload Anna's systems
  • Respect the Anna team in support interactions
  • Report flaws, vulnerabilities, or improper uses you identify

Violations of these commitments may lead to a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent closure of the account, depending on severity.

In plain words

Use Anna properly: no breaking into other people's accounts, attacking the system, automating access without authorization, or using it for anything illegal. If you see something wrong, report it. Treating the support team badly isn't in the contract either.

12. Communications from Anna

When creating an account, you agree to receive:

  • Operational communications (mandatory): policy-expiration alerts, security notices, changes to the Terms or the Privacy Policy, support replies. These cannot be turned off while you have an active account.
  • Marketing communications (optional): news, content, tips, promotions. You can turn these on or off at any time in the app settings, in the unsubscribe link in the email, or by asking Anna.

Anna uses the registered channels (email, push, in-app, possibly SMS) according to your preferences.

In plain words

Anna sends two kinds of message: the essential ones (expiration, security, contract changes) that continue while your account exists; and the marketing ones, which you turn on or off whenever you want.

13. Suspension and closure of the account

13.1. Closure by you

You can close your account at any time, at no cost, directly in the app settings or by asking Anna. The handling of your data after closure follows what's in the Privacy Policy (section 11).

13.2. Suspension or closure by Anna

Anna may suspend or close your account in the following cases:

  • Violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy
  • Reasonable suspicion of fraud, identity falsification, or illegal use
  • Attempt to compromise the platform's security
  • Prolonged inactivity (more than 24 months without login), with prior notice
  • Court order or determination by a competent authority
  • Discontinuation of Anna's services as a whole (with reasonable prior notice)

Whenever possible, Anna communicates the decision in advance and gives an opportunity to remedy it. In serious cases (fraud, attack), suspension may be immediate.

13.3. Effects of closure

When closing the account:

  • Your access to the app is revoked
  • Your data is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy
  • You can request an export of your data before closure
  • Obligations that by their nature survive (liability for prior improper use, intellectual property, etc.) remain

In plain words

You leave whenever you want, at no cost. Anna can remove you if there's a serious violation or long inactivity — and whenever there's time, it tells you beforehand.

14. Disclaimers and limitations of liability

14.1. Anna is provided "as is"

Anna strives to deliver a quality service, but makes it available "as is", without warranties of:

  • Suitability for a specific user purpose
  • Complete absence of errors or inaccuracies
  • Compatibility with all devices and operating-system versions
  • Specific results from using the assistant

14.2. Limitations of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anna is not responsible for:

  • Decisions you make based on information displayed in the app, especially the AI assistant's answers. The official source is always the original document and the insurer.
  • Extraction errors in the automatic reading of policy data. You are responsible for reviewing the extracted data.
  • Loss of coverage due to failure to renew, even if Anna did not send an alert — alerts are auxiliary; responsibility for payment and renewal remains yours and your insurer's.
  • Conduct of third parties, including insurers, brokers, or other users
  • Indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential losses
  • Outages caused by force majeure or by third parties outside Anna's control

14.3. What Anna is responsible for

Anna is responsible for:

  • Meeting the commitments described in these Terms and in the Privacy Policy
  • Adopting reasonable security measures to protect your data
  • Handling your rights as a personal-data subject within legal deadlines
  • Notifying you of security incidents affecting your data, as required by the LGPD

14.4. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits rights guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/90) or by other applicable public-order rules.

In plain words

Anna delivers the best it can, but it's not an insurer. Important decisions (paying the bill, renewing, triggering coverage) stay with you. Anna is responsible for what's in these Terms — and your rights as a consumer are preserved.

15. Vulnerabilities and security reports

If you identify a security flaw, vulnerability, or strange behavior in the app or on the site, we ask that you notify Anna before disclosing it publicly. That's responsible disclosure.

Channel for reports: seguranca@anna.com.br

Anna commits to:

  • Confirm receipt within 2 business days
  • Investigate and respond within a reasonable time
  • Publicly acknowledge you, if you wish and the flaw is genuine
  • Not take legal action against anyone who reports in good faith and follows the responsible-disclosure rules

Exploitation attempts with malicious intent, or public disclosure without prior notice, may be treated as a violation of these Terms.

In plain words

Found a flaw? Tell us before spreading it around. We investigate, fix it, and — if you want — thank you publicly. Anyone who reports it properly, in good faith, has no problem with us.

16. Changes to these Terms

Anna may update these Terms to reflect product evolution, regulatory changes, or operational adjustments.

Material changes (that alter rights, obligations, or essential aspects of the service) are communicated at least 30 days in advance, via:

  • Registered email
  • A prominent notice in the app
  • A banner on the site

Minor changes (wording adjustments, corrections) are made without prior notice, recorded in the version log.

If you do not agree with material changes, you can close your account at any time. Continued use of Anna after the changes take effect means acceptance.

In plain words

Important change = 30 days' notice by email, app, and site. Small change = a quiet adjustment, recorded in the version table. If you don't agree, you leave at no cost.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The courts of the consumer user's domicile are chosen to settle any disputes arising from these Terms, as guaranteed by the Consumer Protection Code.

Anna encourages the amicable resolution of conflicts. Before any judicial measure, we suggest getting in touch via the support channel to try to resolve the matter directly.

In plain words

Brazilian law applies. If a dispute comes up, you sue in the court of your city. But first, talk to us — almost everything can be resolved by talking.

18. General provisions

18.1. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific terms for future features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anna.

18.2. Independence of clauses

If any clause of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a court decision, the others remain in force.

18.3. Tolerance does not mean waiver

Anna's occasional failure to enforce any obligation set out in these Terms does not mean a waiver; it may be enforced at any time.

18.4. Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms to third parties. Anna may assign them in the event of corporate reorganization, merger, or acquisition, notifying you in advance.

18.5. Communicating with Anna

To talk to Anna about these Terms, with questions, suggestions, or complaints:

  • General support: suporte@anna.com.br
  • Privacy and LGPD: privacidade@anna.com.br
  • Security: seguranca@anna.com.br

In plain words

These Terms + the Privacy Policy are the complete contract. If one clause falls, the others still hold. And to reach us: suporte@anna.com.br for anything general, privacidade@anna.com.br for LGPD, seguranca@anna.com.br for flaws.
